PSU
In response to the article Penn State hiring Patriots assistant getting hired as Penn State’s new head coach. Some might ask why Bill O’Brien coaching at Penn State. The kid does not have any former head coach experience, nor did he attend Penn State University. I believe that he is the right guy for the job. Joe Paterno was the kind of coach that would just sit back and watch the game. He would let his coaches under him to basically push them. By hiring a head coach that is truly passionate about the game, as seen in the confrontation with Tom Brady, is respectable guy to put the university back where they have been in the past. He will make they not only excel on the football field, but in the classroom as well.

PITT football
1/5/12
Dear Post Gazette,
In response to the article titled http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/12005/1201412-233.stm. Pitt is supposed to be a little bit less octane than anticipated at the beginning of the season. I believe that by them going by this game plan will putt PITT in the best situation to win. A quarterback is a vital position on the football team. To get recruited as a division 1 quarterback is a pretty big deal. Tino was recruited to play at PITT in an offense warrants a pocket passer. He was not recruited for this high octane stuff. By them taking the game plan down a notch it will put the players in the best situation to win. With them going through adversity in a bad time they will have to all be in and not put the blame on Graham. It was a low blow and by them winning will end of year of bitterness.

PITT Football a Roller Coaster
Dear Post Gazette,
1-4-12
In response to the article titled, don’t invite Graham, bitter Pitt players to same party. I agree to the article. Their season has been filled with ups and downs sort of like a roller coaster. From the beginning of the season to the end they have been scrutinized in all aspects of life. They have had basically three different coaches. That’s a lot to go through. As an athlete they choose the university not solely based on academics but the coaches staff. They have to feel comfortable with the staff and enjoy the players.
Coming into the season after whole Haywood getting arrested basically set the tone for the whole season. They started off as low as can be. Hiring a new coach with the stature of Graham was the next option. He explained the term commitment and the fact that he planned on staying with the university for five years or so. Telling its fans about his high octane offense, getting in the left lane and putting the pedal to the metal were just a few of his quotes. By him saying this it made many PITT fans excited for the season.
The whole season was filled with ups and downs. With a close game to Maine made many fans wonder about how well they are as a whole. During the Iowa game they looked like good with a lead but then they blew it. After the game their fans were speculating on how good their secondary was. The whole season leads up to the rivalry. Every university has the rivalry game that they must win. They don’t care about the rest of the season they just care about that one game. During the game the quarterback play was subpar. Leading up to it they had not played very well. Late in the game it all decides on how well the quarterback can play. Taking a few sacks late in the game made many fans frustrated. He could have just thrown it away but yet he decided to take the sack. Many fans question why he is still at PITT.
Weeks past and they were selected to a bowl game they had many time to prepare. The coaching staff could come up with a game plan to put the team in the best possible situation. When deciding the leave they had many fans left mind boggled. Leading up to that Graham was asked on his opinion on Tino Sunseri. He explained on how bad he was. Now your coach is supposed to make you the best person you’re supposed to be. When getting interviewed by multiple sport talk radio stations he neglected Tino saying that he doesn’t understand how he is a d1 quarterback.

Two Hour Delay
Waking up at six thirty already makes me want to kill myself. Looking outside seeing the rodes covered, and yet still coming down with snow. Understanding that no schools in the area dont have one i go into the shower. After the shower still hoping to one that we dont get. Driving to school was treacheress. The rodes were covered by the wing blowing snow, along with the downpore of snow they have received. The rodes were barely visible and cars had trouble getting up the hill. Not understanding why we dont have a two hour delay still goes through everyones mind, but now that we dont have one who cares. Cmon its not like school is hard. It is the first day back from break, and we probably will no be doing much.
